This brand new Polestar 2 came to us from San Diego, CA looking for a self-healing PPF clear bra service. We went ahead and performed an Xpel Ultimate clear bra installed on the full hood, fenders, mirrors, bumper, and headlights. In addition, this was topped off with our Ceramic Coating for additional shine and protection.

Pollutants like bird droppings and acids from bugs. ULTIMATE PLUS PPF is virtually unnoticeable and leaves a high-gloss shine on wrapped surfaces. The paint protection film ‘self-healing’ properties work with direct sunlight to vanish away light paint damage like swirl marks and faint scratches.

Ceramic Coatings works at a molecular level to seal and protect surfaces from environmental contaminants, harmful UV rays, and insect acids. Our Ceramic Coatings can also provide resistance to light scratches and fading. It is infused with hydrophobic properties to help repel dirt and liquids, making surfaces easier to clean. Developed to perform in a wide variety of surface types, Ceramic Coatings offers unrivaled gloss, superior hydrophobic protection, and improved scratch resistance with a single application.

We begin each clear bra service with a full decontamination of the paint. It’s important to remove any embedded contaminants, dirt or debris that could get in the way of the finished product.

Badges are removed (If applicable) to minimize any seams or edges of the film. This is important as leading edges of the Xpel film can catch dust and dirty overtime and get quite unsightly.

The film is laid panel by panel with a soap “Slip” solution. This slip solution is sprayed under the film and then squeegeed out to lay the film in place. Once this is completed, edges are trimmed and wrapped the finished product is almost indistinguishable from the bare paint.
